How to take care of your lips naturally
After all the warm weather and now the sudden change this can impact our lips causing them to be dry, dehydrated and chapped. This is why we need to put in extra care for our lips because even the most expensive lipstick wouldn’t look good on chapped lips.
Here are four ways to care for our lips in changing weather conditions
1. Hydrate
Drink lots of water. We can’t stress this point enough. You need to hydrate your body (and, in turn, your lips) to battle the hot weather. This can prevent chapping and dry lips.
2. Moisturise
Drinking water is essential, but so is that extra care. In the same way that you apply moisturiser to supplement your water intake, you need to put on lip balm to not only treat dry lips, but also protect it from environmental damage.
We recommend our Nourishing lip balm as it includes 2 powerful ingredients
50Mg CBD to nourish your skin
+
Coconut oil which is said to prevent lines and wrinkles.
For best effects, massage the lips after applying the lip balm.
3. Scrub
Exfoliation is important because it not only gets rid of dead skin cells, but also product buildup (eww!). Use a gentle scrub or a soft toothbrush to slough away the dirt and dead skin cells.
4. Don’t lick your lips
Your lips feel dry and dehydrated, but that doesn’t mean you should use saliva to quench its thirst. Licking your lips will make it drier because what dry lips need isn’t really water (unless taken orally), but oil. This is why you need to apply a nourishing lip balm to treat chapped lips.
